Dulcinea
"Dulcinea" refers to Dulcinea del Toboso, the idealized peasant woman whom Don Quixote imagines as his noble lady love in Miguel de Cervantes' classic novel *Don Quixote* (1605). Though she never actually appears in the story, her imagined presence drives the deluded knight's chivalrous adventures and has made her a lasting symbol of romantic idealization.
