Acting the Maggot
I don't have specific details about an event called "Acting the Maggot," so I can't accurately summarize it. "Acting the maggot" is an Irish slang phrase meaning to behave foolishly or mess around, so the event is likely a comedy show, play, or cabaret evening — but if you can share the event listing or details, I'd be happy to write a proper 1-2 sentence summary for you.
