The Hokum Syndicate
The Hokum Syndicate is a four-piece band that brings the smoky atmosphere of early New Orleans and 1890–1930s American music to life with a unique, swinging live show. Performing mostly original songs by founder Big Bo—written in old Vaudeville tradition with humorous, naughty and melancholic lyrics—they blend styles like Ragtime, Delta Blues, Hokum and Hot Club Jazz.
