This event explores the loneliness of dying people—a topic Norbert Elias famously addressed—and asks how it can be addressed in light of society's growing awareness of loneliness since the pandemic, focusing on implications for hospice and palliative care. It features Susanne Kränzle, director of Hospiz Esslingen and long-time leader in Baden-Württemberg's hospice and palliative care community.
