The Cunning Little Vixen
The Cunning Little Vixen is an opera by Czech composer Leoš Janáček, based on a newspaper comic serial, that follows the life cycle of a clever female fox—from her capture as a cub by a forester, through her escape into the wild, to her eventual death. Blending humor and philosophy, it explores themes of nature, freedom, and the eternal cycle of life and renewal.
