Susie Ibarra
Composer and percussionist Susie Ibarra, winner of the 2025 Pulitzer Prize for Music, premieres her work "Sky Islands" at the Pierre Boulez Saal—a piece for eight musicians blending conventional instruments with Philippine gong and bamboo sounds, inspired by the unique mountain rainforest ecosystems of Luzon and calling for biodiversity preservation and climate awareness.
