This is a stage adaptation of Thomas Melle's autobiographical novel *Die Welt im Rücken* (*The World at My Back*), directed by Lucia Bihler, in which Melle's experience of bipolar disorder is explored through performers — including doppelgängers who embody the author's fragmented self.
