___“Code switching” refers to the conscious change in language and behavior for example as a protective mechanism against discrimination. In the performance, Julius Pristauz, in collaboration with Fran Klein, explores how social norms manifest themselves in bodies as well as interactions. For “code/switch,” Pristauz’s site-specific installation becomes the stage and choreographic center.
