This evening presents a diptych of two dance pieces—*Avant la nuit* and *L'Oiseau de feu*—exploring different facets of parenthood, from intimate domestic life to confronting a hostile world. Through choreography and scenography, the works examine parents' essential roles in protecting, guiding, and transmitting values while allowing children to grow and emancipate themselves.
