"**The Game We Knew, but Didn't Play**" is a participatory performance exploring the German-Iranian contact zone through theater exchange, political influence, and censorship. Performers and audience members investigate strategies of cooperation, resistance, and subversion, based on German theater productions staged in Iran since 1999.
