Metaxy
Metaxy (μεταξύ) is a Greek term meaning "in-between," used by Plato to describe the realm of intermediacy between being and non-being or between the sensible and intelligible worlds—often associated with Eros or daimons that bridge human and divine. Later philosophers, notably Eric Voegelin, adopted it to characterize human existence as suspended between ignorance and knowledge, time and eternity.
