For his second exhibition at the Strouk Gallery, Valentin van der Meulen chose the title 'Non-Lieux' in reference to Marc Augé. The ethnologist and anthropologist associated this concept with 'supermodernity', specifically the eventful, spatial overabundance and the individualization of references.
