Galerie Maurice Garnier, en date du
This appears to be a gallery label from the Galerie Maurice Garnier documenting a painting by Bernard Buffet, the French expressionist painter. The work is signed and dated "Bernard Buffet 80" in the middle right, indicating it was created in 1980, and the gallery (Maurice Garnier in Paris) was famously Buffet's primary dealer.
