Bande dessinée
This appears to be a bande dessinée (French comic book) event—likely a comic book festival, exhibition, or signing session—documented in photographs by Dominique Roscot. Such events typically celebrate the art of comic strips and graphic novels, featuring artists, authors, and fans of the ninth art.
