Sleeping Beauty
Sleeping Beauty is a famous probability puzzle in philosophy: a woman is put to sleep and awakened either once or twice depending on a coin flip (if heads, once on Monday; if tails, on both Monday and Tuesday, with her memory erased each time). Each time she's woken, she must state her credence that the coin came up heads — with "halfers" arguing for 1/2 and "thirders" arguing for 1/3.
