Oper von Anno Schreier
The Theater Osnabrück has commissioned a new opera by composer Anno Schreier and librettist Joscha Schaback that portrays the short life of Peter van Pels (Anne Frank's "quiet confidant"), premiering in connection with the 100th anniversary of his birth on November 8, 2026, as a memorial to the hundreds of thousands of young people murdered by the Nazis.
