"Nina, o sia La pazza per amore" ("Nina, or the Mad Woman Through Love") is an opera (opera semiseria) by Giovanni Paisiello, first performed in 1789, about a young woman driven to madness after her lover is apparently killed by her father's opposition—recovering her sanity only when he returns alive.
