*L'Histoire de Manon* is a ballet by Kenneth MacMillan (set to music by Jules Massenet, arranged by Martin Yates) that tells the tragic story of Manon Lescaut, a young woman torn between true love and a life of luxury in 18th-century France, whose choices ultimately lead to her downfall and death.
