**Invito alla danza** (Invitation to the Dance) is a famous piano piece by Carl Maria von Weber, composed in 1819, widely regarded as one of the earliest examples of the concert waltz. It depicts musically a gentleman inviting a lady to dance, followed by their dance itself and a gracious farewell.
