L'Histoire de Manon
**L'Histoire de Manon** is a three-act ballet by Kenneth MacMillan, set to music by Jules Massenet, that follows the tragic tale of the beautiful Manon Lescaut. In 18th-century France, Manon abandons her true love, Des Grieux, for a life of wealth and luxury among aristocratic patrons, only to face ruin, deportation, and a heartbroken death in her lover's arms.
