Volunteer Shifts in the Rockaways
RISE seeks volunteers for dune restoration at Beach 44th Street and the Boardwalk on Mondays and Fridays, and at its Native Plant Nursery on Mondays, both from 10:30 a.m. to 12:30 p.m. Volunteers will help with tasks like invasive plant removal, beach cleanup, and cultivating native plants to support a more resilient shoreline.
