The 44th Annual Leap Sandcastle Classic transforms Ocean Beach into an open-air sand art gallery, where teams compete to build massive, elaborate sand sculptures near Balboa Street. Hosted by LEAP Arts in Education, the event is free for spectators, who are advised to dress warmly and visit midday for the best views.
