The 3rd IDA World Congress on Desalination and Water Reuse was held November 4-8, 1989 in Kuwait City, Kuwait, co-organized by WP, with Dr. Adil Bushnak serving as President of the Board and Congress Chairperson, and Leon Awerbuch as incoming IDA President for 1989-1991. The congress brought together international experts to discuss advances in desalination technology and water reuse.
