Erfurt's Christmas Market is the largest in Thuringia and one of Germany's most beautiful, set in the medieval Old Town around Cathedral Square. Visitors can enjoy traditional crafts, Thuringian specialties, a giant candle-decorated Christmas tree, hand-carved life-size figures, and a variety of festive events, especially on Advent weekends.
