Medieval Ceramic Tile Handbuilding Workshop
This 2.5-hour handbuilding workshop at the Forest Gate studio teaches participants to create their own medieval-style inlay tiles, covering the history and traditional techniques of inlay and sgraffito decoration, from carving designs to filling them with slip clay. Finished tiles are kiln-fired and can be collected six weeks later (or shipped for an extra fee).
