**Oru Kami** is an origami event celebrating the traditional Japanese art of paper folding, where participants learn to transform simple sheets of paper into intricate sculptures such as cranes, flowers, and animals. The name itself comes from the Japanese words "oru" (to fold) and "kami" (paper).
