"Child of Destiny" is a rare event in Crusader Kings II in which a young child character is revealed to have a grand, mysterious destiny—often tied to a prophecy—granting them powerful traits and setting them on a path where they may grow up to become a legendary conqueror with special abilities, such as leading a great invasion.
