Bluebeard’s Castle
*Bluebeard's Castle* is a one-act opera by Béla Bartók in which the newlywed Judith follows Duke Bluebeard into his castle, and as she opens each of its locked doors, dark secrets from his past—including his former wives—are revealed, culminating in her joining them behind the seventh door.
