Mendelssohn-Festtage 2026 – Abschlusskonzert
The closing concert of the Mendelssohn-Festtage 2026 takes place in the Mendelssohn-Saal of the Gewandhaus. Pianists Elena Bashkirova and Alexander Melnikov perform works for piano four hands, including Mendelssohn's 'Hebrides' Overture, Seven Songs without Words, and Schubert's Fantasie in F minor. A fitting grand finale to the festival, bringing two of Mendelssohn's most beloved works together w
