La Mara – Eine Würdigung zum 100. Todestag
This is a cultural history segment by Lisbeth Suhrcke marking the 100th anniversary of the death (1927) of writer and music historian La Mara (Marie Lipsius, born 1837 in Leipzig), who wrote extensively about 19th-century composers based on her personal acquaintance with many of them, most famously her five-volume "Musikalische Studienköpfe."
