**Ella** is a dance-theater performance based on interviews with Ella Weber (1915–2015), a Palatinate working-class woman reflecting on a century of life, in which four performers use movement, text, and sound to explore femininity, heritage, family, and resilience—and ask which inherited ideas of womanhood we carry forward and which we leave behind.
