"The Ugly Duckling" is a 45-minute musical fairy tale by Marko Drechsel, based on Hans Christian Andersen's story, performed by a string quartet with narrator and dancer at the Musikalische Komödie's Venussaal. Recommended for children ages 4 and up, it tells of a rejected duckling who grows up and discovers his true self.
