Nils Mönkemeyer (viola), William Youn
A classical chamber concert at the Cologne Philharmonic Hall featuring violist Nils Mönkemeyer and pianist William Youn. The programme spans Sciarrino's Tre Notturni brillanti, Mozart, Gourzi's Hommage à Mozart, Schubert's Arpeggione Sonata, a work by Nadia Boulanger and Brahms' Viola Sonata op. 120/2. A rare chance to hear two leading exponents of the viola-piano duo repertoire.
