The Minotaur is a creature from Greek mythology—a monster with the body of a man and the head of a bull, born from Pasiphaë, wife of King Minos of Crete. It was kept in the Labyrinth built by Daedalus, where it was fed human sacrifices until the hero Theseus killed it.
