ESA Deutsch/MSA Mathematik
**ESA Deutsch/MSA Mathematik** refers to German school-leaving examinations: the ESA (Erster Schulabschluss, first school-leaving certificate) exam in German and the MSA (Mittlerer Schulabschluss, intermediate school-leaving certificate) exam in Mathematics. These are standardized tests taken in Germany, typically around 9th/10th grade, that certify completion of lower secondary education.
