Daniel Müller-Schott (Violoncello), NDR Elbphilharmonie Orchester, Andris Poga
This concert features cellist Daniel Müller-Schott performing Prokofiev's Sinfonia Concertante in E minor, op. 125, with the NDR Elbphilharmonie Orchestra under conductor Andris Poga, followed by Shostakovich's Symphony No. 4 in C minor, op. 43. The program pairs two major 20th-century Russian works, contrasting intimate cello writing with a monumental and dramatic symphony.
