The Bridlington October Charter Fair, one of the country's oldest charter fairs dating back to 1200, runs from 21–26 October 2026 and features thrilling rides, family attractions, prize stalls, and traditional treats—many brought straight from Hull Fair. The event opens with a traditional ceremony at 5pm on the Wednesday, including the ringing of the Fair Bells and the Mayor trying the rides.
