Blowing off the roof
This jazz event, "Blowing off the roof," features a two-brass instrument, organ, and drum lineup—a combination famously explored by jazz legends like Larry Young, Woody Shaw, Joe Henderson, and Elvin Jones. The ensemble pushes the boundaries between hard bop and free improvisation in this unusual instrumentation.
