Until the end of October, visitors to Hanover's New Town Hall can ride the world's unique arched elevator up the dome tower—tilting 17 degrees during the one-minute ride since 1913—to reach the 97.73-meter-high observation platform and enjoy a breathtaking panoramic view of the city.
