DIE ZAUBERFLÖTE. THE OPERA BUT NOT THE OPERA
**Die Zauberflöte** (The Magic Flute) is Mozart's beloved opera about Prince Tamino, who, aided by a magic flute and the comic bird-catcher Papageno, rescues Pamina from the sorcerer Sarastro—only to discover that Sarastro's temple represents light and wisdom, leading the pair through trials of silence, fire, and water to enlightenment and love.
