Santa Benedetta Cambiagio Frassinello (1791–1858) was an Italian woman who, after a marriage of chastity with her husband, dedicated her life to charity—caring for poor and abandoned girls—and founded the Congregation of the Benedictine Sisters of Providence in Ronco Scrivia; she was canonized by Pope John Paul II on May 19, 2002.
