Colette et Willy
This event refers to the relationship between the French writer Colette and her first husband, Henry Gauthier-Villars (known as "Willy"), whom she married in 1893. Willy famously published Colette's early Claudine novels under his own name, exploiting her talent before their separation and eventual divorce in 1910, after which Colette fought to win back literary credit for her work.
