KRABAT STIRBT is a trilingual music theater piece performed in German, Upper and Lower Sorbian, retelling the Sorbian legend of Krabat through language mixing. Using Sorbian folk songs, rod puppets, hurdy-gurdy, and live electronics, it brings the figure of Krabat into a contemporary context for audiences both inside and outside the Sorbian settlement area.
