In the Mode of Seriality: Difference, Variation, and Repetition in Architecture and Design
This exhibition at the Museum Angewandte Kunst explores seriality in architecture and design, asking what makes a series a series and what role repetition plays in shaping our everyday worlds. Curated by Prof. Axel Sowa, it presents 20 case studies from RWTH Aachen students and six design studies by HfG Offenbach students, ranging from serial cycling shoes to the Korean Hangul writing system.
