PEDRA DURA
A 5th edition of Pedra Dura, the Algarve Dance Festival, presents Vera Mantero's solo "uma misteriosa Coisa, disse o e.e. cummings" at Centro Cultural de Lagos on November 7 — a piece first performed in 1996 as a tribute to Josephine Baker that goes beyond the iconic dancer's figure to explore a spirit of richness that rejects ignorance, materialism, and narrow-mindedness.
