This event is a punting boat (Stocherkahn) tour on the Mühlkanal in Vaihingen that commemorates the town's tanning tradition, when boats once transported ground bark along the canal from the Lohmühle to the tanneries. Children under 8 may not ride, children 8–16 must be accompanied by an adult, pets are not allowed, and the trip may be postponed or canceled due to bad weather or high water.
