Die Hexen von Bernau
This is a scene-and-music theater production about the 1617 witch trials in Bernau near Berlin, focusing on 70-year-old Dorothea Meermann, who endured two years of torture while maintaining her innocence until her death. Based on historical research and true fates, the piece connects this dark chapter of history to contemporary themes of power, narratives, and women's strength.
