Stockhausen: Inori
"Inori" is a large-scale work by German composer Karlheinz Stockhausen, subtitled "prayers," written for one or two solo dancers/mimes accompanied by an orchestra. The performance combines music and ritualistic, prayer-like movement as the soloists silently enact prayers to God through gestures inspired by various cultures.
