Beethoven: Symphony No. 3 in E flat major op. 55 “Eroica”
Ludwig van Beethoven (1770–1827) was a German composer and pianist widely regarded as one of the greatest musicians in history, who bridged the Classical and Romantic eras. Despite progressively losing his hearing, he created enduring masterpieces such as nine symphonies (including the famous Fifth and the Ninth with "Ode to Joy"), piano sonatas, and string quartets.
