Pier 21
Pier 21 refers to the historic ocean liner terminal in Halifax, Nova Scotia, which served as Canada's primary immigration gateway from 1928 to 1971, welcoming over a million newcomers, including war refugees and displaced persons. Today, it is home to the Canadian Museum of Immigration, which commemorates and shares the stories of those who arrived and helped shape the nation.
